A neighbour, not a politician.

I went to Hespeler Public School. I grew up on these streets, and I never really left them.

I'm a father of eight and a grandfather of ten. Family is the centre of everything I do — and Hespeler is where that family was built. Birthday parties at the park. Hockey. The Reunion. The Music Festival. Forty years of showing up.

For 22 years I've worked in municipal operations — roads, snow removal, and the infrastructure most people never think about until it fails. Thirteen of those years I spent in a supervisory role. I know how a city actually works: what a road rebuild costs, why a plow route runs the way it does, and how long "we'll look into it" really takes.

I sit on the Hespeler Reunion Committee and the Forbes Music Festival Committee — the two things that bring this town out into the street every year.

Now I'm retired, which gives me something some candidates can't offer: time. I'm not fitting this around a career. Ward 2 will be my full-time focus.
