Always Here. Always Hespeler.

22 years keeping this city running. Now I want to represent it.

Meet Mark

A neighbour, not a politician.

For nearly four decades, Hespeler has been more than just my home — it has shaped who I am.

I went to Hespeler Public School. I grew up on these streets, raised my family here, and stayed involved through the Hespeler Reunion Committee and the Hespeler Music Festival Committee.

For 22 years I've worked in municipal operations — roads, snow removal, and the infrastructure most people never think about until it fails.

Now I'm retired, which gives me something most candidates can't offer: time. Ward 2 will be my full-time focus.

My Platform

What I'll fight for in Ward 2.

No slogans. Here's what I actually intend to do.

Out There for Every Snow Event

When the snow comes, I'll be on the street — not waiting by a phone. If a hill in Ward 2 isn't safe, I'll know about it before you have to call me.

Roads and Infrastructure, From Someone Who's Done the Work

Twenty-two years maintaining roads, sidewalks and underground infrastructure means I can read a capital budget and tell you whether the number is real.

Standing Up for Hespeler Village

Queen Street isn't a shopping district. It's the reason people still say "the Village" and mean something by it — and I'll be at the BIA table every meeting, all four years.

"I've spent my life serving the community I love. Now I'm asking for the opportunity to serve it as your Ward 2 Councillor."

A Commitment to Residents

If elected, I will:

Listening to Ward 2

This campaign starts by listening.

Over the coming months, I'll be meeting residents and local business owners across Ward 2 to hear your ideas, concerns, and hopes for our community. Your feedback will help shape the conversations I bring to Council.

Your privacy matters. Anything you share is used only so I can understand what matters to residents and follow up with you directly. It is never sold, published, or shared with third parties, and you will not be added to any mailing list without your permission.

Help put Mark on the map.

A lawn sign on your street or a few hours on a doorstep does more for this campaign than any ad ever will.
